Service Clerk

Smart & Final is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Service Clerk to join our team! In this position, you will provide excellent customer service to our customers and help to ensure the store runs smoothly. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills and a friendly attitude. If you are an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves helping people, this is the job for you!The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of experience in a retail setting as well as basic computer knowledge. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is also required. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and can effectively manage multiple tasks at once. You must also be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers upon entering the store and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Provide customers with accurate information about products and services.
3. Ensure shelves are well stocked and properly labeled.
4. Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Assist with store operations, such as restocking shelves and cleaning.
6. Maintain accurate records of customer purchases and transactions.
7. Adhere to safety guidelines and store policy at all times.
8. Assist other store personnel as needed.
9. Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
10. Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
