Retail Associate

Smart & Final is looking for a Retail Associate to join our team and help us provide our customers with the best grocery shopping experience possible. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile to help customers. The Retail Associate will have a range of responsibilities, including stocking shelves, ringing up sales, and helping to keep the store clean and organized. To be successful in this role, the Retail Associate must have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent• Positive attitude and strong work ethic• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Excellent customer service skills• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Responsibilities: • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner • Stock shelves with products according to company guidelines • Ring up sales using a cash register or POS system • Answer customer questions in a helpful and knowledgeable way • Ensure store is clean and organized • Assist customers with carrying items to their vehicles • Receive and unload deliveries • Provide accurate information about products and pricing • Follow health and safety guidelines • Maintain store security • Process returns and exchanges • Assist with setting up displays and promotional materials • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues • Adhere to store policies and procedures
