Retail Associate

Smart & Final is looking for a Retail Associate to join our team! We're looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, detail-oriented, and reliable. The ideal candidate should have a friendly and outgoing personality and be able to work independently. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in retail or customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent interpersonal skills. You should also be able to stay organized and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Smart & Final products and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
2. Assist customers with selecting and purchasing products.
3. Operate a cash register and process payments accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain a neat and orderly store environment.
5. Receive and stock merchandise in accordance with store procedures.
6. Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
7. Answer customer questions and resolve complaints.
8. Process returns and exchanges of merchandise.
9. Follow store policies and procedures.
10. Maintain knowledge of Smart & Final products and services.
