Retail Associate

Smart & Final is looking for a hardworking, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Associate. The Retail Associate will provide excellent customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently, stocking shelves, building displays and providing product knowledge to customers. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and reliable, with a strong commitment to customer service. To be successful in this role, you will need at least 1 year of experience in a retail environment, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and an ability to take initiative. Responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently • Stock shelves and build displays to maintain a neat and organized store • Provide product knowledge and advice to customers • Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner • Maintain knowledge of store policies and procedures • Assist in other store duties as assigned • Maintain a safe and clean working environment • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues • Remain up to date on product knowledge and trends in the retail industry • Utilize Microsoft Office programs for daily tasks and operations
