- Receive and process shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track merchandise and assist with restocking and replenishing sales floor.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to fulfill customer requests and maintain a visually appealing sales floor.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for quality and report any defects or damages to management.
- Assist with store operations, including but not limited to opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the stockroom and sales floor.
- Proactively identify and address any stockroom or inventory issues that may impact store operations.
- Cross-train in other areas of the store and assist with additional tasks as needed.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Stockroom Associate Position At Skechers Usa Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Core Subjects Such As Math, Reading, And Writing.
Previous Retail Experience: Candidates With Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Particularly In Stockroom Operations, Are Preferred For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of Inventory Management, Organization, And Customer Service Skills.
