As a Stockroom Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have access to the latest and greatest footwear and apparel. With your attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will help us maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing store.   1. Receive and process shipments of merchandise, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  2. Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of merchandise.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
  4. Utilize inventory management systems to track merchandise and assist with restocking and replenishing sales floor.
  5. Collaborate with sales associates and management to fulfill customer requests and maintain a visually appealing sales floor.
  6. Inspect incoming merchandise for quality and report any defects or damages to management.
  7. Assist with store operations, including but not limited to opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the stockroom and sales floor.
  9. Proactively identify and address any stockroom or inventory issues that may impact store operations.
  10. Cross-train in other areas of the store and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Stockroom Associate Position At Skechers Usa Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Core Subjects Such As Math, Reading, And Writing.

  • Previous Retail Experience: Candidates With Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Particularly In Stockroom Operations, Are Preferred For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of Inventory Management, Organization, And Customer Service Skills.

Therefore, Attention To Detail Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role, As Any Errors Or Discrepancies Can Result In Loss Of Sales Or Inventory.
