1. Responsible for receiving and unloading merchandise shipments from delivery trucks.
2. Organize and tag merchandise according to company standards and procedures.
3. Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed on the sales floor.
4. Restock and replenish merchandise as needed throughout the day.
5. Keep stockroom and backroom areas clean and organized at all times.
6. Perform regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to management.
7. Assist customers with locating and retrieving merchandise from the stockroom.
8. Communicate effectively with sales associates and management regarding stock levels and product availability.
9. Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling merchandise, including heavy items.
10. Participate in store set-up and promotional events as needed.
11. Help maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
13. Continuously strive to improve stockroom efficiency and organization.
14. Assist in training and coaching new stockroom associates.
15. Other duties as assigned by management.
