Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and optimizing the layout of our retail stores, ensuring that our product displays are visually appealing and effectively driving sales.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the layout and design of retail stores in order to optimize space and drive sales.
  2. Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure that product displays align with brand standards and effectively showcase our products.
  3. Conduct store visits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes to the layout and merchandising strategy.
  4. Utilize market research and consumer behavior data to inform store planning decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Construction, to ensure that store layouts are feasible and executed accurately.
  6. Monitor and maintain store layouts to ensure consistency across all locations.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in store planning and visual merchandising, and incorporate them into store designs.
  8. Train and mentor new store planners and provide guidance and support to store teams on store layout and visual merchandising best practices.
  9. Manage and maintain store planning budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining brand standards.
  10. Continuously review and analyze sales data to track the impact of store layouts and make adjustments as needed to drive sales and improve overall performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree Or Equivalent Experience In Retail Merchandising Or Store Planning: A Strong Educational Background Or Relevant Work Experience In Retail Merchandising Or Store Planning Is Essential For This Role. This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Retail Operations And Visual Merchandising Principles.

  • Knowledge Of Footwear Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Footwear Industry, Including Current Trends, Consumer Behavior, And Product Knowledge. This Knowledge Will Enable The Store Planner To Effectively Plan For And Display Footwear Products In The Most Appealing And Commercially Viable Way.

  • Experience In Space Planning And Store Design: The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Space Planning And Store Design, With A Proven Track Record Of Creating Visually Appealing And Efficient Store Layouts. This Qualification Is Crucial In Ensuring That The Candidate Can Effectively Optimize Store Space And Create An Inviting Shopping Environment.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Retail Store Planner Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Sales Data, Identify Trends, And Plan Accordingly. They Should Also Possess Excellent Problem-Solving Skills To Address Any Challenges That May Arise During The Planning And Execution Process.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Successful Retail Store Planner Must Be An Effective Communicator And Collaborator, As This Role Requires Frequent Coordination With Cross-Functional Teams Such As Buying, Visual Merchandising, And Store Operations. The Candidate Should Be Able To Clearly Convey Their Ideas And Work Well With Others To Achieve Common Goals.
