- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all data assets.
- Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for remediation.
- Train and educate employees on data governance policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data governance practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of data governance strategies and roadmaps.
- Manage and maintain data governance tools and systems.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure data is protected and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to data governance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for data governance initiatives.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure data governance compliance and data sharing agreements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data governance processes to support the company's growth and scalability.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Systems, Or Data Management.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Governance And Management, Preferably In A Retail Or Consumer Goods Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Data Privacy And Security Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Ccpa.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
Experience With Data Governance Tools And Technologies, Such As Data Cataloging, Metadata Management, And Data Quality Tools.
