- Coordinate and manage the production process for Skechers footwear at an international level.
- Collaborate with suppliers and factories to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Monitor and analyze production schedules and timelines to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and sales, to ensure alignment and understanding of production needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production orders, shipments, and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on production processes and finished products to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot any production issues or delays, and develop solutions to minimize impact on delivery timelines.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in international production and planning.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and factories to ensure smooth and effective production processes.
- Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to coordinate the shipping and delivery of products to various international markets.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide regular reports and updates on production status to management and other stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior production and planning team members to ensure a cohesive and well-functioning team.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to production and planning.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Skechers, promoting our values and commitment to quality in all interactions with suppliers, factories, and other stakeholders.
Strong Knowledge Of International Production Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of International Production Processes, Including Sourcing, Manufacturing, And Logistics. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Plan And Coordinate Production Activities Across Multiple Countries And Ensure Timely Delivery Of Products.
Experience In Planning And Coordination: The Role Of An International Production & Planning Coordinator Requires A High Level Of Planning And Coordination Skills. The Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Footwear Industry, With A Demonstrated Ability To Successfully Manage Complex Production Schedules.
Multilingual Proficiency: As The Job Involves Working With International Suppliers And Stakeholders, Fluency In Multiple Languages Is A Valuable Asset. Candidates With Proficiency In Languages Such As Mandarin, Spanish, And Italian Will Have An Advantage In This Role.
