- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Support the store manager in all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and employee scheduling.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to the company's values and mission.
- Assist in training and developing team members to ensure they are knowledgeable and able to provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor sales and inventory levels, and make recommendations to the store manager to improve store performance and achieve sales goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure that all team members do the same.
- Communicate effectively with the store manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve store processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to make informed recommendations to the store manager.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training sessions to stay informed on company updates and policies.
- Support and promote company initiatives, such as sales promotions and community events.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and represent the Skechers brand with pride.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the store manager to contribute to the success of the store and the company as a whole.
Retail Management Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Previous Experience In Retail Management Is Required For This Position. This Should Include Experience In Managing A Team, Overseeing Store Operations, And Driving Sales.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks, Motivate Team Members, And Provide Guidance And Support To Achieve Store Goals.
Excellent Communication: A 2Nd Assistant Manager At Skechers Is Responsible For Communicating With Both Customers And Upper Management. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Product And Brand Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of Skechers Products And Brand Values Is Crucial For This Position. The 2Nd Assistant Manager Should Be Able To Effectively Educate And Train Team Members On Product Knowledge And Brand Messaging.
Time Management And Organizational Skills: As A Key Member Of The Management Team, The 2Nd Assistant Manager Should Be Able To Effectively Prioritize Tasks, Manage Time Efficiently, And Maintain Organization In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment.
