Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Analyst, Risk Management & Insurance who will play an integral role in managing the various risks associated with the Simon Property Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and risk management, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to develop sound strategies.The Analyst, Risk Management & Insurance will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating risk exposures facing the company, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks. The successful candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to collaborate with different departments across the organization to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field. In addition, a minimum of three years of experience in Risk Management & Insurance in a corporate setting is required. Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, analyze, and evaluate risk exposures facing the company and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  2. Collaborate with different departments across the organization to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and assess changes in the business environment that could affect risk exposures and notify appropriate personnel of any risks.
  4. Develop risk management plans to address potential exposures and maintain accurate records of all insurance policies.
  5. Negotiate with insurance providers to secure competitively priced coverage.
  6. Investigate and analyze insurance claims to determine accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  7. Implement and manage risk management systems and ensure adherence to organizational guidelines.
  8. Develop and implement training programs for employees regarding risk management policies and procedures.
  9. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in risk management and insurance.
