We are currently seeking a Store Manager to lead our team and help us continue to grow and succeed in the retail industry.As a Store Manager at Shoe Carnival, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and energetic atmosphere for both our customers and team members. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store including sales, operations, and customer service.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the store including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet sales targets.
  3. Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  4. Train and onboard new team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about company policies, procedures, and products.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to make informed decisions about merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
  6. Ensure that the store is visually appealing and meets company standards for cleanliness and organization.
  7. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving for customer satisfaction.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, loss prevention, and employee conduct.
  9. Create and maintain a schedule for the store that ensures adequate staffing during peak business hours.
  10. Collaborate with the corporate office to implement new initiatives and promotions.
  11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance.
  12. Manage the store's budget and expenses to ensure profitability.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to make informed business decisions.
  14. Represent Shoe Carnival in a professional and positive manner at all times.
