Welcome to Shoe Carnival! We are a fast-paced, dynamic retail store that is committed to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Store Associate to join our team.As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and driving sales. Our ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, outgoing, and has a passion for fashion and footwear.To be successful in this role, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous retail experience is a plus.   1. Greet and engage customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, sizing, and any other inquiries.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
  4. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
  5. Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring all products are displayed neatly and according to company standards.
  6. Continuously learn about new products and promotions to effectively communicate and upsell to customers.
  7. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and targets.
  8. Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety guidelines.
  10. Continuously strive to improve personal and team performance through feedback and training.
  11. Maintain a positive attitude and excellent work ethic while working in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
  12. Act as a brand ambassador by representing the store and company values in a positive manner.
  13. Uphold a professional and polished appearance at all times.
  14. Attend and actively participate in store meetings and training sessions.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
