Welcome to Shoe Carnival! We are a leading footwear retailer looking for energetic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as a Store Associate. As a Store Associate, you will have the opportunity to interact with our valued customers, help them find the perfect shoes, and ensure a positive shopping experience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have a love for shoes. If you have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, we want you on our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store with a friendly and professional attitude.
  2. Assist customers in finding the perfect pair of shoes by understanding their needs and preferences.
  3. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product knowledge, and suggesting alternative options.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
  6. Handle customer returns and exchanges in a timely and courteous manner.
  7. Keep up-to-date with current promotions, sales, and new product releases to effectively communicate to customers.
  8. Contribute to the overall success of the store by meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the store.
  10. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by actively seeking and responding to customer feedback.
  11. Follow company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, loss prevention, and safety.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its values.
  13. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  14. Uphold the company's customer service standards and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Store Associate At Shoe Carnival Must Possess Strong Customer Service Skills In Order To Provide A Positive Shopping Experience For Customers. This Includes Being Friendly, Helpful, And Knowledgeable About Products.

  • Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In The Shoe Industry, Is A Valuable Qualification For A Store Associate. This Experience Can Demonstrate An Understanding Of Sales Techniques, Inventory Management, And Customer Interactions.

  • Product Knowledge: A Store Associate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Shoe Carnival's Products, Including Different Brands, Styles, And Sizes. This Will Enable Them To Assist Customers With Finding The Right Shoes And Making Recommendations Based On Their Needs.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For A Store Associate To Interact With Customers, Colleagues, And Managers. This Includes Listening Actively, Speaking Clearly And Confidently, And Conveying Information Accurately.
