Shipping/Receiving Clerk

1. Receive incoming merchandise and verify accuracy of received items.
2. Assist in unloading and loading of trucks with merchandise.
3. Inspect received items for any damages or defects and report any issues to management.
4. Accurately record and organize received merchandise in inventory system.
5. Prepare merchandise for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items.
6. Ensure timely and accurate shipment of merchandise to the correct locations.
7. Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
8. Communicate with vendors and other team members regarding shipping and receiving schedules.
9. Participate in inventory management by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
10. Address any customer inquiries or concerns regarding shipping and receiving.
11. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
12. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency in the shipping and receiving department.
13. Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
14. Uphold company policies and standards for customer service and operational excellence.
15. Continuously strive to meet and exceed productivity and accuracy goals.
