
Shipping/Receiving Clerk

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming merchandise, as well as preparing and shipping outgoing orders. - Receive and sort incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Prepare outgoing orders for shipment according to company procedures.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and packaged for shipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with shipments to appropriate parties.
- Follow all safety and security protocols while handling merchandise.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Continuously strive to improve shipping and receiving processes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Education Is Required For A Shipping/Receiving Clerk Position At Shoe Carnival. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Minimum Level Of Knowledge And Skills Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role: Shoe Carnival May Prefer Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working As A Shipping/Receiving Clerk. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of The Job Responsibilities And Can Quickly Adapt To The Role.
