Job Description

Do you have a love for shoes and a passion for precision? Shoe Carnival is seeking a Processing Clerk to join our team and help make sure our inventory runs smoothly. As a Processing Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, sorting, and processing merchandise to ensure our customers have access to the latest trends and styles in a timely manner. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic to help us maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction. If you are a driven and dedicated individual with a love for all things shoes, we want you on our team!

  1. Accurately receive and process incoming merchandise shipments in a timely manner.
  2. Sort and organize merchandise according to established guidelines.
  3. Perform quality checks to ensure all merchandise meets company standards.
  4. Update and maintain inventory records and systems.
  5. Assist with restocking and replenishment of sales floor merchandise.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective processing of merchandise.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  8. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
  9. Help to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  11. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring merchandise is readily available for purchase.
  12. Help to create a positive and welcoming environment for customers and team members.
  13. Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
