Job Description

If so, Shoe Carnival is looking for a Processing Clerk to join our team! As a Processing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of inventory processing, while also assisting with other administrative tasks as needed. We are seeking someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.   1. Accurately and efficiently process incoming inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and recorded correctly.
  2. Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory storage areas to facilitate easy access and efficient processing.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of inventory processing tasks.
  4. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management.
  5. Utilize data and numbers to track inventory levels, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Communicate with various departments, including purchasing and sales, to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely processing.
  7. Assist with other administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping, as needed.
  8. Uphold company standards and procedures for accuracy and efficiency in inventory processing.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling inventory items.
  10. Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  11. Continuously strive to improve processes and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and act as a brand ambassador for Shoe Carnival at all times.
