
Loss Prevention Associate

- Conduct regular store audits to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with company safety protocols.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to identify suspicious activity and respond accordingly.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures.
- Train and educate store employees on theft prevention techniques and safety protocols.
- Respond to and investigate reported incidents of theft or fraud, documenting findings and taking appropriate action.
- Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams to handle any criminal or legal matters related to loss prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and investigations, including detailed reports and documentation.
- Conduct inventory audits to identify discrepancies and potential losses.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention to continually improve processes and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with store management and corporate teams to provide updates on loss prevention efforts and address any areas of concern.
- Act as a liaison between store management and law enforcement during criminal investigations.
- Conduct internal investigations into suspected employee theft or fraud, following company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on store safety and security hazards, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, employees, and law enforcement.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or Retail Security
Excellent Observation And Surveillance Skills
Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Abilities
Familiarity With Store Policies And Procedures Related To Loss Prevention And Theft Prevention.
