
Loss Prevention Associate

- Monitor and maintain the overall safety and security of the store, including but not limited to merchandise, customers, and team members.
- Conduct regular and thorough audits of store processes and procedures to identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize surveillance equipment and investigative techniques to identify and prevent internal and external theft.
- Collaborate with store management and team members to develop strategies for preventing loss and minimizing risk.
- Train and educate team members on loss prevention policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Respond to and resolve any incidents of theft or fraud, including conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and reporting findings to appropriate parties.
- Perform routine inspections to identify any potential safety hazards and take necessary steps to address them.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all incidents and investigations, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity at all times.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends related to loss prevention, and make recommendations for implementing new strategies and technologies.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures, such as alarms, locks, and cameras.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment history for potential employees.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive image of the company.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of integrity and ethical behavior in all aspects of the job.
- Regularly review and update loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
