- Lead and manage a team of associates to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience.
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance, including merchandise displays, cleanliness, and organization.
- Ensure proper inventory management and accuracy of stock levels on the sales floor.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with upper management regarding any issues or concerns and provide solutions.
- Motivate and encourage team members to achieve sales goals and meet performance expectations.
- Uphold company values and policies, including safety and security protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to achieve overall store success.
- Stay up-to-date on current fashion and footwear trends to assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Handle cash and financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude to create a fun and welcoming environment for both customers and associates.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve store processes and operations.
Leadership Skills: A Floor Supervisor At Shoe Carnival Must Possess Strong Leadership Abilities To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team Of Sales Associates.
Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Is Essential For A Floor Supervisor Role, As They Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Store Operations And Ensuring Excellent Customer Service.
Product Knowledge: A Thorough Understanding Of Footwear And Fashion Trends Is Necessary To Assist Customers And Provide Guidance To Sales Associates.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Crucial For A Floor Supervisor, As They Will Be Required To Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members Effectively.
Problem-Solving Abilities: A Floor Supervisor Should Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Make Quick Decisions To Resolve Any Issues That May Arise On The Sales Floor. They Should Also Be Able To Identify And Address Any Operational Or Customer Service Concerns.
