- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers have a positive and memorable shopping experience.
- Train and supervise a team of sales associates to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain the store's appearance, including cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Motivate and encourage the team to meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Conduct regular floor walks to ensure that all areas of the store are properly maintained and stocked.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as buying and marketing, to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Continuously monitor and report on sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and budgeting.

Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role: A Floor Supervisor At Shoe Carnival Should Have Prior Experience In Managing A Team, Ideally In A Retail Setting. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has Leadership Skills And Can Effectively Manage The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Store.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As A Floor Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Interact With Customers And Handle Any Customer Complaints Or Issues. Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential In This Role.
Knowledge Of Shoe Products And Trends: The Ideal Candidate For A Floor Supervisor Position At Shoe Carnival Should Have A Good Understanding Of Different Shoe Brands, Styles, And Trends. This Will Help Them Assist Customers In Finding The Right Products And Also Guide The Team In Merchandising And Inventory Management.
Ability To Multitask And Handle Pressure: Shoe Carnival Stores Can Get Quite Busy, Especially During Peak Shopping Seasons. A Floor Supervisor Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously And Remain Calm Under Pressure To Ensure That The Store Runs Smoothly.
