
Assistant Store Manager

As the right-hand person to the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and energetic shopping experience for our customers. - Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, including but not limited to sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee scheduling.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
- Ensure that the store is fully stocked and visually appealing at all times by implementing effective merchandising and product presentation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions and implement strategies to drive sales and meet financial targets.
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment by adhering to company policies and procedures regarding safety, loss prevention, and inventory control.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to company values.
- Communicate effectively with both customers and team members to resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement promotional and marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the Store Manager to contribute to the overall success of the store.
Previous Retail Management Experience: A Successful Assistant Store Manager At Shoe Carnival Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Previous Experience In A Retail Management Role. This Experience Should Include Managing Teams, Driving Sales, And Achieving Operational Goals.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant Store Manager Must Be Able To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team Of Employees To Achieve Company Goals. This Requires Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.
Knowledge Of Shoe Industry And Trends: A Successful Assistant Store Manager Should Have A Passion For Fashion And A Strong Understanding Of The Shoe Industry. They Should Be Knowledgeable About Current Trends And Able To Make Informed Buying Decisions.
