Job Description

Implement Division’s land acquisition strategy to fill the land pipeline and execute the current business plan. Efficiently source, target, and track land opportunities for the Division. Record and maintain database of current, pending and past transactions in Southern California. Develop and foster direct relationships with land owners, developers, brokers, consultants, and city staff. Conduct market and property research to prioritize opportunities. Propose site and product solutions to overcome constraints. Prepare proforma financial analysis for a wide variety of transaction structures meeting Company objectives. Draft offer letters. Participate in purchase agreement negotiation, title review and escrow processes. Coordinate the due diligence process with senior management, consultants, and team members to fulfill obligations and meet deadlines.

Job Qualifications

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
2 years minimum experience in Land Acquisition within the Southern California market.
Extensive knowledge of the Home Building Industry and builder operations.
Ability to routinely travel to potential land purchase sites is required.
