Global Supply Chain Planner

Plan and requisition outsourced Hard Surface products on a weekly basis, with supervision from the Senior Planner, using HSRP to maintain appropriate customer service levels while also ensuring appropriate inventory levels for a limited to moderate number of suppliers using basic business acumen and supply chain knowledge. Basic understanding of parameter functions within HSRP, how they impact customer service levels as well as inventory levels. Basic working knowledge of DC and RDC stocking plans/strategies. Basic working knowledge of the forecast and actual sales volume (stable trends and outliers) and how these impact the planning/purchasing recommendations. Maintain working knowledge of the Suspension process set up within HSRP in conjunction with the Inventory Planning Analyst and help as needed.
