- Monitor and analyze store data, including inventory levels and transaction records, to identify potential areas of risk and take appropriate action to mitigate loss.
- Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures.
- Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor store activity and identify any potential security threats.
- Conduct regular store audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as identify any potential security vulnerabilities.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention best practices and techniques to minimize loss and maintain a safe work environment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security or safety incidents, including conducting investigations, filing reports, and liaising with law enforcement as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loss prevention incidents and activities.
- Stay informed of current trends and techniques in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvements to existing procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising and operations, to ensure loss prevention strategies are integrated into all aspects of store operations.
- Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of loss prevention measures and make recommendations for changes as needed.
