As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in protecting our merchandise, staff, and customers from potential theft and fraudulent activity.   1. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff.
  2. Investigate and identify potential theft and fraudulent activity within the store.
  3. Implement and enforce security procedures and policies.
  4. Utilize surveillance equipment and technology to monitor store activity.
  5. Collaborate with store management and staff to address and resolve security concerns.
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  7. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management regarding security issues.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer concerns related to loss prevention.
  9. Document and report any incidents or suspicious activities to appropriate parties.
  10. Work closely with law enforcement and legal teams as needed.
  11. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention to continuously improve store security.
  12. Cooperate with inventory management to ensure accurate inventory counts and identify any discrepancies.
  13. Train and educate staff on loss prevention procedures and policies.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
  15. Continuously assess and improve loss prevention strategies to minimize risk and loss for the store.
