  1. Monitor and maintain the security of the store premises, including the merchandise and inventory, to prevent theft and losses.
  2. Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify and address any potential security risks.
  3. Utilize surveillance systems and other security equipment to monitor and identify suspicious activity.
  4. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
  5. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention procedures and policies.
  6. Respond to and investigate any reported incidents of theft or suspicious activity.
  7. Document and report any security incidents or violations to store management and/or appropriate authorities.
  8. Conduct internal investigations as needed and work with law enforcement when necessary.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized records of all security-related incidents and actions taken.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current security and loss prevention trends and best practices.
  11. Assist with inventory audits and other loss prevention tasks as needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management to promote a safe and secure shopping environment.
  13. Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor at all times.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the loss prevention program to better protect the store and its assets.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Procedures: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies And Procedures, Including Inventory Control, Surveillance Systems, And Investigation Techniques.

  • Retail Experience: Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role, Is Highly Desired. A Loss Prevention Associate At Sephora Should Be Familiar With The Daily Operations Of A Store And Have A Good Understanding Of Customer Behavior In A Retail Setting.

  • Attention To Detail: A Key Responsibility Of A Loss Prevention Associate Is To Identify And Prevent Potential Theft Or Loss. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Spot Suspicious Behavior Or Discrepancies.

  • Strong Communication Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Both Store Management And Team Members. Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential To Effectively Report Any Incidents Or Potential Threats.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In Retail Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, Especially During Peak Seasons. A Loss Prevention Associate Should Be Able To Handle High-Stress Situations And Remain Calm Under Pressure While Still Performing Their Duties Effectively.
