  1. Monitor and patrol the store to identify and prevent potential theft and fraudulent activities.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
  4. Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to identify suspicious behavior and take appropriate action.
  5. Respond to and resolve any security incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Train and educate store employees on loss prevention practices and procedures.
  7. Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence for any reported incidents.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all security-related incidents and activities.
  9. Communicate effectively with store management, law enforcement, and corporate loss prevention teams.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to loss prevention and implement necessary changes to improve security measures.
  11. Continuously monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or potential risks.
  12. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job.
  13. Uphold the company's values and promote a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
  14. Collaborate with other loss prevention associates to share best practices and improve overall security measures.
  15. Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed on company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Retail Or Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Retail Setting Or Previous Experience In Loss Prevention.

  • Knowledge Of Store Security And Surveillance Systems: Familiarity With Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Other Security Measures Is Important For Monitoring And Responding To Potential Theft Or Other Security Threats.

  • Strong Observation And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Loss Prevention Associate Should Be Able To Identify Suspicious Behaviors And Make Quick Decisions To Address And Prevent Potential Theft Or Loss.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Requires Interaction With Both Customers And Store Associates, So Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Handle Potentially Difficult Situations With Diplomacy And Professionalism.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Work Independently: A Keen Eye For Detail Is Essential For Identifying Discrepancies And Potential Theft, And The Ability To Work Independently Allows For Effective Surveillance And Monitoring Of Store Activity.
