  1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients by actively listening to their needs and providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
  2. Utilize in-depth knowledge of beauty products, trends, and techniques to educate and assist clients in their purchasing decisions.
  3. Maintain a high level of expertise in all areas of beauty, including skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive and personalized shopping experience.
  5. Assist in achieving sales goals by actively promoting products and services and upselling when appropriate.
  6. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and events to effectively communicate information to clients.
  7. Demonstrate expertise in Sephora's policies and procedures to ensure a seamless shopping experience for clients.
  8. Provide support and feedback to team members to enhance overall performance and customer satisfaction.
  9. Keep work area clean, organized, and well-stocked to provide a visually appealing and efficient shopping environment.
  10. Comply with all licensing requirements and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance skills and knowledge in the beauty industry.
  12. Represent Sephora in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  13. Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  14. Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a safe and welcoming work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Cosmetology Or Esthetician License: A Licensed Beauty Advisor At Sephora Must Have A Valid License In Cosmetology Or Esthetics From A Recognized Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Education In Beauty And Skincare.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Techniques: To Effectively Assist And Advise Customers, A Licensed Beauty Advisor Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Beauty Products, Their Ingredients, And Application Techniques. This Knowledge Helps Them Recommend The Right Products For Different Skin Types And Concerns.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Frontline Representative Of Sephora, A Licensed Beauty Advisor Must Possess Exceptional Communication Skills And Be Able To Provide Excellent Customer Service. This Includes Actively Listening To Customers' Needs, Answering Questions, And Addressing Any Concerns They May Have.

  • Sales And Product Demonstration Experience: Sephora Is A Retail Store, And A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Have Experience In Sales And Product Demonstration. They Should Be Able To Effectively Showcase And Promote Products To Customers, Upsell And Cross-Sell, And Close Sales.

  • Availability To Work Flexible Hours: Sephora Stores Often Have Extended Business Hours, And A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Be Available To Work Flexible Hours, Including Weekends And Holidays.
