  1. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in finding the perfect beauty products and offering personalized recommendations based on their individual needs and preferences.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products through continuous training and education.
  3. Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered by Sephora and effectively communicate this information to clients.
  4. Utilize strong communication skills to build relationships with clients and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  5. Perform services such as makeup application, skincare consultations, and product demonstrations.
  6. Ensure all products are properly stocked, labeled, and displayed according to company standards.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area to provide a safe and inviting shopping experience for clients.
  8. Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience for clients.
  9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  10. Continuously strive to improve and expand knowledge and skills in the beauty industry.
  11. Represent the Sephora brand with professionalism and passion, both in-store and online.

Job Qualifications

  • A Valid Esthetician Or Cosmetologist License: A Licensed Beauty Advisor At Sephora Must Possess A Valid License In Either Esthetics Or Cosmetology. This Ensures That The Advisor Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Expert Beauty Advice To Customers.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Trends: A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Beauty Products, Including Their Ingredients, Benefits, And Application Techniques. They Should Also Be Up-To-Date With Current Beauty Trends.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Sephora Values Exceptional Customer Service, And A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Be Able To Provide A Personalized And Positive Experience For Each Customer. This Includes Being Approachable, Friendly, And Attentive To Customers' Needs.

  • Sales Experience: As A Licensed Beauty Advisor, Part Of The Job Will Involve Recommending And Selling Products To Customers. Therefore, Having Previous Sales Experience Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates An Understanding Of How To Meet Sales Targets While Providing Excellent Customer Service.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Key In This Role, As A Licensed Beauty Advisor Will Need To Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Sometimes Vendors. They Should Be Able To Articulate Themselves Clearly, Listen Actively, And Adapt Their Communication Style To Different Individuals.
