We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Licensed Beauty Advisor to join our team and provide exceptional beauty advice to our clients. As a Beauty Advisor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and knowledge of the latest beauty trends and products with our valued customers. If you have a passion for beauty, excellent communication skills, and a valid cosmetology or esthetics license, we would love to hear from you!

  1. Greet and welcome customers to Sephora with a positive and friendly attitude.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing the needs and concerns of clients.
  3. Utilize knowledge and expertise in beauty trends and products to offer personalized recommendations and advice to customers.
  4. Educate customers on proper product usage, application techniques, and benefits.
  5. Demonstrate and apply makeup and skincare products on customers to showcase their effectiveness.
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of all Sephora products and brands in order to effectively assist customers.
  7. Stay up to date on industry trends and new product launches to continuously enhance knowledge and expertise.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including display shelves and product testers.
  9. Meet and exceed individual sales goals through effective communication and product recommendations.
  10. Utilize company resources and technology to accurately and efficiently process customer transactions.
  11. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  12. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal cosmetology/esthetics regulations.
  13. Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by actively seeking out and addressing feedback.
  14. Attend and actively participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Uphold Sephora's brand image and standards by maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Cosmetology License: A Licensed Beauty Advisor At Sephora Must Have A Valid Cosmetology License From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Advisor Has Received Proper Training And Education In The Field Of Beauty And Cosmetics.

  • Expert Knowledge Of Beauty Products: A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Beauty Products Available At Sephora. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Brands, Ingredients, And Application Techniques.

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Working At Sephora Requires Excellent Customer Service Skills. A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Be Able To Engage With Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Provide Personalized Recommendations And Solutions.

  • Sales Experience: Sephora Is A Retail Environment, And A Licensed Beauty Advisor Should Have Prior Experience In Sales. This Includes The Ability To Upsell And Cross-Sell Products, Meet Sales Targets, And Handle Transactions.
