Zoological Specialist

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is looking for an experienced Zoological Specialist to join our team. As a Zoological Specialist, you'll be an integral part of the team, responsible for providing expert care and support for all of the animals in our parks.In this role, you’ll need to have an in-depth knowledge of zoological principles, and be able to apply them to our unique environment. You’ll be responsible for conducting research, observing animal behavior, and developing and implementing enrichment activities. You’ll also be expected to assist with veterinary care, and provide support and guidance to other team members.The ideal candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in zoology or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in a zoological setting. You should also have a strong understanding of animal behavior, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other departments is essential.
