Job Description

Do you have a passion for theatrical production and a drive to make a difference? SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is looking for a Theatrical Services Technician to help bring our guests the most entertaining and immersive experience possible. The ideal candidate has a background in theatrical production and experience in technical theater, proven experience in troubleshooting, and an understanding of theatrical production equipment and lighting. The successful candidate is a customer service-oriented team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to set up, operate, and maintain theatrical production equipment and lighting.
  2. Troubleshoot problems with theatrical production equipment and lighting to ensure a smooth and efficient theatrical production.
  3. Oversee the installation and maintenance of theatrical production equipment and lighting.
  4. Work collaboratively with theatrical production team members to ensure a successful production.
  5. Ensure the safety of guests and staff while providing theatrical services.
  6. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.
  7. Assist with the rehearsal and performance of theatrical productions.
  8. Assist with the evaluation and selection of theatrical production equipment and lighting.
  9. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of theatrical production equipment, lighting, and industry trends.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
