Scenic Arts Craftsperson

We are seeking a highly creative and passionate Scenic Arts Craftsperson to join SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment's team of dedicated professionals. Our ideal candidate is an experienced and organized self-starter who is excited to bring their expertise to the SeaWorld experience.The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in theme park or entertainment production. They must have experience in carpentry, woodworking, metal fabrication, welding, fiberglass fabrication, scenic painting, costume fabrication, and scenic artistry. The ideal candidate must also have strong time management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and design sets and scenery for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment's attractions and shows.
2. Create and fabricate sets and scenery using carpentry, woodworking, metal fabrication, welding, fiberglass fabrication, scenic painting, costume fabrication, and scenic artistry.
3. Manage time and resources effectively to meet project requirements and deadlines.
4. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful project completion.
5. Maintain and adhere to OSHA standards and safety protocols.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
7. Research and explore new techniques and materials to create innovative and cost-effective designs.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the designs and productions meet the overall goals of the project.
