Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Safety Specialist to join the team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. The ideal candidate will be able to implement safety strategies, procedures, and systems to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees, guests, and facilities.The Safety Specialist will work closely with the Safety Manager and other departments to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards. They will be responsible for conducting safety training and assessments, implementing safety policies, and investigating safety incidents.To be successful in this position, you will need an in-depth knowledge of safety standards and regulations, excellent communication skills, a dedication to safety, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. In addition, you will need a Bachelor's degree in safety management or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a safety-related role.If you have the experience and qualifications to excel in this role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of Safety Specialist:

  1. Develop and implement safety strategies, procedures, and systems to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees, guests, and facilities.
  2. Conduct safety training and assessments, as well as investigate safety incidents.
  3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
  4. Work with Safety Manager and other departments to ensure safety compliance.
  5. Monitor safety performance and take corrective action when needed.
  6. Provide safety advice and guidance to management and other staff.
  7. Prepare and present safety reports, as well as participate in safety committee meetings.
  8. Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and compliance status.
  9. Stay up-to-date on new regulations and developments in safety-related fields.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
