
Pastry Chef
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment team! As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for developing creative and delicious desserts and pastries to delight our guests. You should have a passion for the culinary arts and have a strong understanding of baking fundamentals and techniques. We are looking for a strong leader who is able to create a positive work environment and mentor others. If you are looking to join a dynamic and energetic team, we would love to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef or Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously• Advanced knowledge of baking techniques and decorating• Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is a plus
Responsibilities: • Create innovative and delicious desserts and pastries for guests • Understand and follow baking fundamentals and techniques • Mentor and lead the pastry team • Ensure sanitary and safe work environments • Monitor and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies • Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in pastry and baking • Develop and implement quality control measures • Oversee all operations of the pastry kitchen • Develop recipes and menus for special events
