Horticulture Technician
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is looking for a creative and highly motivated Horticulture Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping us create beautiful, immersive landscaping experiences for all of our guests. As the Horticulture Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for vegetation, carrying out planting, weeding, watering, and pruning tasks, and providing technical advice on all aspects of landscaping. To be considered for this role, you must have experience in horticulture or landscaping, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating beautiful and interesting outdoor experiences. It is also preferred that you have a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.We’re looking for an individual with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and caring for vegetation, including planting, weeding, watering, and pruning
- Providing technical advice on all aspects of landscaping
- Ensuring the quality and aesthetic appeal of the landscape is maintained
- Working with a team of fellow horticulture technicians to complete landscaping projects in a timely manner
- Staying up to date on new horticulture techniques and trends
- Operating and maintaining horticulture equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and power tools
- Following safety protocols at all times
- Adhering to SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of landscaping projects
Excellent Communication Skills
