Costume Specialist, Senior
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Costume Specialist to join the team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, creation, maintenance, and repair of costumes for our live entertainment shows. Additionally, you will supervise the wardrobe team and collaborate with other departments on costume needs. You must also have strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Experience in theater, dance, or other live entertainment is preferred. Additionally, you must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, creation, maintenance, and repair of costumes for live entertainment shows.
- Supervise the wardrobe team.
- Collaborate with other departments on costume needs.
- Ensure costumes meet safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain and organize costume inventory.
- Train new team members on costume-related matters and safety protocols.
- Monitor and adjust costume budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in costume design.
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
