Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure efficient, timely and accurate financial operations. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who is organized and has excellent problem-solving skills.To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance. In addition, you must have at least three years of accounting experience, including experience with financial analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and reconcile all accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
3. Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
4. Prepare and submit reports to management.
5. Prepare and review budgets, projections, and forecasts.
6. Monitor and maintain internal controls.
7. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
8. Assist with audits and other reviews.
9. Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide administrative support as needed.
