Plan, organize and manage all Manufacturing QA programs, processes and activities. Lead and mentor a team of 25 – 50 hourly and salary personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and any necessary disciplinary actions. Focus on employee morale and making SG a great place to work. Create and deploy standard work instructions and routings with production specifications to drive consistency and reliability. Ensure that processes and procedures are in place for all activities and that procedures are followed. Gather, analyze and use data to drive decisions to improve quality. Participate in analyzing root causes of problems found and in developing countermeasures to remove the causes. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of QA methods and procedures used and undertake improvement projects to improve QA effectiveness and efficiency.
