Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement programs and initiatives to foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion at Scholastic.
  2. Lead internal and external communications to ensure that all stakeholders understand the organization's commitment to DEI.
  3. Research best practices for DEI programs and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  4. Monitor progress of DEI programs and initiatives to ensure they are meeting desired outcomes.
  5. Serve as a resource for employees on DEI topics.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure organizational alignment on DEI initiatives.
  7. Develop and coordinate training programs on DEI topics.
  8. Serve as an advocate for DEI issues within the organization.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to stay abreast of DEI trends and best practices.
  10. Analyze data to understand the current DEI landscape and identify areas for improvement.
