Electrical Field Support Engineer
Analyze and solve complex problems and do root cause analysis. Help create standard solution for custom requests. Plan and lead complex problem resolution projects involving a group of lower classified engineers and technical support personnel to achieve timely, cost-effective solutions. Support product improvements and development, using new technologies to reduce callbacks, improve reliability or reduce maintenance labor. Act as the company expert in one or more elevator systems or products which are currently in our product offering, maintain all associated product documentation. Analyze new technologies and make appropriate application to upgrade field diagnostic capabilities. Perform and present analysis and findings to management, peers and customers.
Working knowledge of elevator systems, design procedures, and practices.
Background knowledge in motors and drives preferred.
Minimum eight years elevator/escalator engineering experience.
