  1. Conduct research and development activities to design and optimize processes for the production of biopharmaceuticals.
  2. Utilize engineering principles and techniques to develop innovative solutions for improving the efficiency and quality of biopharmaceutical production.
  3. Design and execute experiments to evaluate process parameters and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Analyze data and present findings to cross-functional teams and management.
  5. Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to develop and implement process improvements.
  6. Stay up-to-date with advancements in biopharmaceutical engineering and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into process development.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during process development.
  8. Train and mentor junior engineers and scientists.
  9. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and results.
  10. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and publications.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of experimental data and results.
  12. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during process development.
  13. Participate in cross-functional teams to support the transfer of processes to manufacturing.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source equipment and materials for process development.
  15. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Engineering, Such As A Phd Or Master's Degree, With A Focus On Relevant Disciplines Such As Chemical, Biomedical, Or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Scientific Research And Development Role, Preferably Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Innovative Engineering Solutions For Complex Scientific Problems.

  • Strong Leadership Skills With Experience Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Scientists And Engineers.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Technical Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
