- Develop and implement the overall business development and licensing strategy for the Immunology Business Unit in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnership and collaboration opportunities to expand the Immunology portfolio and drive growth.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the transaction process, including due diligence, negotiations, and deal closing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, to facilitate successful partnerships and collaborations.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analysis to inform decision making and identify potential opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, commercial, and legal, to ensure alignment and successful execution of partnerships.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on potential business opportunities and risks.
- Stay current on industry trends and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
- Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to network and promote the Immunology portfolio.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all business development activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates on business development activities to senior leadership.

Extensive Experience In Business Development And Licensing Within The Pharmaceutical Industry, Particularly In The Field Of Immunology. This Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Successful Deal Negotiations And Strong Knowledge Of Market Trends And Competitive Landscape.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team, Including The Ability To Develop And Mentor Junior Team Members. This Role Will Involve Overseeing A Team Of Transaction Professionals, So Previous Experience In A Managerial Position Is Essential.
In-Depth Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And Regulatory Requirements In The Immunology Space. This Includes A Thorough Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Design And Execution, As Well As Regulatory And Compliance Considerations.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Internal Stakeholders And External Partners At All Levels. This Role Will Involve Frequent Interactions With Senior Management, So Strong Presentation And Influencing Skills Are Crucial.
