1. Conduct statistical analyses and interpret data to ensure the safety and efficacy of Sanofi's products.
2. Collaborate with other members of the Safety department to design studies and develop statistical methods for data analysis.
3. Provide expert statistical guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical writing, and regulatory affairs.
4. Develop and maintain statistical analysis plans and study protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
5. Participate in the review and validation of clinical trial protocols and related documents.
6. Perform quality control checks on statistical analyses and ensure accuracy and completeness of results.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in biostatistics and apply this knowledge to improve processes and methodologies within the Safety department.
8. Communicate statistical findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
9. Mentor and train junior statisticians on statistical methods and procedures.
10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure quality and consistency of statistical analyses.
11. Contribute to the development and implementation of new statistical methods and tools to improve data analysis processes.
12. Adhere to all applicable regulatory guidelines and company policies.
13. Act as a subject matter expert on biostatistics for internal and external stakeholders.
14. Participate in cross-functional teams and provide statistical input on safety-related initiatives and projects.
15. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the Safety department.
