- Develop and implement global processes and strategies for early-stage drug development programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes.
- Lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives, including defining objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the drug development process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for process changes.
- Provide guidance and support to R&D teams in implementing new processes and tools.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with global processes and standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and education on global processes and strategies.
- Continuously assess and optimize processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to drug development processes.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the R&D organization.
- Effectively communicate updates and progress to senior management and other stakeholders.

Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Field Such As Chemistry, Biology, Or Pharmaceutical Sciences Is Typically Required For This Role. This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation And Understanding Of The Scientific Principles And Processes Involved In Early Development.
Extensive Experience In Research And Development: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Research And Development, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Global R&D Projects.
Strong Leadership And Strategic Thinking Skills: As A Global Process Owner, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Driving The Development And Implementation Of Processes And Strategies Across Multiple Locations. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities, Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements: The R&D Global Process Owner- Early Development Will Need To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines For Drug Development. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Submissions, Clinical Trial Protocols, And Other Relevant Regulations And Guidelines.
