If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Public Affairs Lead to join our team at Sanofi. As the Public Affairs Lead for Malaysia and Singapore (MYSG), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's reputation and driving our government affairs agenda. We are looking for a talented and experienced individual who can effectively navigate complex regulatory environments and drive innovative solutions. If you are a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in public affairs, we want to hear from you.

  1. Develop and implement the public affairs strategy for Malaysia and Singapore markets.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to promote Sanofi's interests and objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze political and regulatory developments and advise the company on potential risks and opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of public affairs efforts with overall business objectives.
  5. Represent Sanofi at relevant industry events and conferences, and serve as a spokesperson for the company on public affairs issues.
  6. Develop and maintain a network of key opinion leaders and influencers to support advocacy efforts.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for public affairs activities in MYSG markets.
  8. Lead the development of advocacy campaigns and initiatives to support the company's policy positions.
  9. Communicate with internal stakeholders to keep them informed of key policy developments and potential impact on the business.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public affairs to continuously improve and innovate the company's approach.
  11. Act as a liaison between the company and government agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  12. Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings to senior management on public affairs activities and outcomes in MYSG markets.
  13. Engage in crisis management and reputation management, as needed.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Public Affairs Or Government Relations Role

  • Strong Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including Knowledge Of Local And National Regulations And Policies

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Stakeholder Engagement And Collaboration With Government Officials, Patient Advocacy Groups, And Other Key Stakeholders

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
