  1. Lead the design and development of quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models to support drug discovery and development.
  2. Conduct scientific research and data analysis to inform and validate QSP models.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QSP models into drug discovery and development processes.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QSP methodologies and techniques.
  5. Communicate complex scientific concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Ensure the accuracy and quality of QSP model outputs and provide recommendations for improvements.
  7. Manage and mentor a team of scientists and research associates to support QSP projects.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support QSP initiatives.
  9. Contribute to the development and execution of departmental strategies and goals.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines in the development and use of QSP models.
  11. Participate in conferences, workshops, and other scientific events to represent the company and share research findings.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on QSP for internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve QSP processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Collaborate with leadership to identify and secure funding for QSP research projects.
  15. Maintain accurate and organized records of all QSP research activities and findings.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: The Ideal Candidate For The Principal Scientist Qsp Job At Sanofi Should Possess A Ph.d. Or Equivalent Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Pharmacology, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Extensive Experience In Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (Qsp): The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Developing And Applying Qsp Models To Support Drug Discovery And Development In The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Should Include Experience In Building Mechanistic Models, Integrating Multi-Omics Data, And Using Qsp To Inform Decision-Making.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal Scientist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Scientists And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Are Essential For This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Scientific Concepts And Data To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences. They Should Also Have Experience In Presenting Scientific Findings To Key Stakeholders, Including Senior Management And External Partners.

  • Knowledge Of Drug Development Process: The Principal Scientist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Development Process, Including The Regulatory Requirements For Different Stages Of Drug Development. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Contribute To The Development Of Qsp Strategies That Align With The Overall Drug Development Plan At Sanofi.
