Pharmacy Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, preparing, and labeling medications and managing inventories of drugs and supplies, as well as providing customer service to patients and colleagues.The ideal candidate will have a Pharmacy Technician Diploma, demonstrated experience in a pharmacy environment, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Most importantly, they should be passionate about providing excellent customer service, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and label medications according to established protocols.
2. Maintain accurate records of medications and supplies.
3. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
4. Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
5. Assist with the ordering and receiving of medications and supplies.
6. Answer customer inquiries regarding medications and other products.
7. Assist in training new pharmacy technicians.
8. Assist pharmacists with medication filling and dispensing.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
10. Keep up to date with advances in pharmacy technology.
